Must see: Snapshot of Diversity

Photographer Zoe Ali and author Christos Tsiolkas (whose novel The Slap was recently nominated for the Man Booker prize) have teamed up for new City Gallery exhibition A New Jerusalem: Faith and the City.

The exhibition explores theme of worship and cultural diversity in 21st century Melbourne via more than 150 black-and-white photographs by Ali and Tsiolkas’ observations about life and faith in Australia. The Melbourne-based artists are long-term collaborators and A New Jerusalem is their fi fth project together. At City Gallery, which shares an entrance with Half-Tix at Melbourne Town Hall, 110 Swanston Street, city. Entry is free and the exhibition runs until January.
