 Nomad launch works its magic

Nomad launch works its magic

14 Aug, 2011 09:10 PM
It was more a champagne sunset than a tequila sunrise on Thursday night at Nomad, but the décor and quirky knick knacks worked their magic to conjure images of Mexico in guests’ minds.

Party goers at the launch of the boutique in Bridport Street, Albert Park, mingled between racks of pineapple print silk scarves and eco-aware Swedish blouses, with piles of colourful cushions, walls covered with tin toucans, bunches of ceramic chillies and Parisian neckpieces creating an eclectic global mix worthy of a Frida Kahlo painting. All that was missing were the monobrows.
