Cleaning the house has a way of eating into the hours you would rather spend doing just about anything else. And while nobody has ever complained about coming home to clean floors, actually keeping them that way is another story.
Say hello to the ECOVACS DEEBOT T30S Pro Robot Vacuum.
Currently priced at $549, down from $1,999, the robot vacuum has been discounted by 73 per cent, bringing a premium cleaning gadget into much more tempting territory.

That’s a saving of $1,450, which is enough to make anyone reconsider their current approach to household chores.
Of course, a hefty discount is one thing. Whether a robot vacuum can actually take some of the work out of everyday life is another.
The DEEBOT T30S Pro is designed to vacuum and mop, with a collection of features intended to make cleaning a little less hands-on.
Its OMNI Station is central to that promise, offering an automated cleaning setup that reduces the amount of regular maintenance required.
For anyone who has spent an afternoon untangling hair from a vacuum brush, its ZeroTangle technology is worth a closer look.
The system uses a specially designed V-shaped roller brush, angled bristles and dual comb teeth arrays to help direct hair into the suction port and minimise tangling.
It’s a practical consideration for households dealing with long hair, shedding pets or the general debris that accumulates between cleans.
Then there’s the suction power. The DEEBOT T30S Pro offers 11,000Pa of suction, alongside OZMO TURBO 2.0 mopping technology and automatic small-tank refilling.
In other words, it’s built to tackle both the crumbs under the kitchen table and the footprints that seem to appear on freshly cleaned floors five minutes later.
One of its more interesting features is AI Instant Re-mop, which is designed to identify stains and target them for additional cleaning.
Rather than simply following a standard cleaning route, the technology aims to give stubborn marks another pass.
Its TruEdge technology is another useful addition, with an extendable mop plate designed to reach closer to walls and obstacles.
Because if there’s one thing that makes a freshly cleaned room look less impressive, it’s a conspicuous strip of dust running along the skirting boards.
Navigation is handled by AIVI 3D 2.0, which supports object recognition and obstacle avoidance, while TrueMapping 2.0 helps the robot map a home. The device also offers up to 180 minutes of battery life, although actual runtime will vary depending on cleaning settings and conditions.
For those who would rather not bend down to start a cleaning session, there’s foot-touch initiation for whole-house cleaning, as well as the YIKO AI Voice Assistant, which supports voice-controlled commands.
And for households that prefer to run appliances after dark, ECOVACS also positions the device as suitable for quieter night-time cleaning, although noise levels can vary by setting.
Naturally, a robot vacuum won’t replace every cleaning task. Corners, stairs, upholstery and the occasional unfortunate kitchen spill may still require human intervention.
But for everyday floor maintenance, the DEEBOT T30S Pro is letting technology take one chore off the to-do list.
At $549, compared with its listed $1,999 price, it’s a substantial markdown for anyone considering an upgrade.
Just keep in mind that the advertised discount is based on the supplied original price, and shoppers should check current availability and sale terms before purchasing.
